Some recent good news is that my book, “Brief Eulogies for Lost Animals: An Extinction Reader” was named as a “Must Read” in this year’s Mass Book Awards (pub date 2017). A nice celebration was held in mid-September for all the honored books, with short readings and speeches about the long history of literacy and the literary craft in Massachusetts.
